Company is now DBA Princz Movers

I wrote an exhaustive review already. This company is now DBA Princz movers, so if you are disheartened by Atlantis's reviews, exercise caution when considering Princz Movers. If you look up their license, they are also based out of Florida, they just do business in Colorado. This is a red flag.

North Dakota to Florida.

I was very cautious about the reviews I read online about the company itself as a whole. But the price was very appealing so I was willing to take a chance and did it pay off! The driver Mohammed was extremely professional and very likable personality. Not only did he move buddy actually help me with the kids in the process lol definitely made the move a lot more comforting he kept in contact with me letting me know when he reached Florida. I can assure you it’s because of Mohammed that I will be contacting cross country movers for my next big move.

Hired Day Laborers for My Move

I moved from Oregon to Texas a year ago. I hired Atlantis because they advertise that they are a carrier, not a broker. The gentlemen who packed my home and loaded the truck were great, although the final bill was higher than the estimate they provided. My items arrived in Texas sooner than I expected and everything went downhill from there. The company called me and said the driver was arriving within a couple hours. I asked for a days notice so I could take off work. They said I would incur "extra charges" for that. So I asked my mother to supervise the move until I could get there. When I arrived, my mom was furious. the movers were throwing and kicking my things, haphazardly piling them in the garage. Almost all of my plastic bins were completely crushed. Every piece of furniture was damaged and all of my wood antiques that the movers packed were damaged or destroyed. The movers broke light fixtures in my moms house in their hurry to move my stuff, they scratched her floor, and they almost refused to put the furniture back together that was supposed to be part of my move. They lost my mattress (for a week), and a huge number of my boxes, which were never recovered. The boxes had damage - it looked like things had poked into them, or they were crushed or ripped open. They kept putting other people's boxes in my garage, encouraging me to look in them to see if my missing items were in them (in OTHER people's *taped up* boxes). They didn't want to put other people's stuff back on the truck. The driver of the truck finally told me that he was not an employee of Atlantis and he just "picked up the job" that day. None of his helpers were movers. He hired them off Craigslist that day and paid them in cash at my house. The company claims to have "vetted" the people they have coming in your home, but this is not true. I don't know whether the company lost my things or if the movers stole them. I paid $9700 for this move and I figure I have over $8k of lost and damaged items. The mediation company they use to settle disputes won't work with you unless you agree to never sue them or write negative reviews about them, so I couldn't do mediation to get reimbursed. Before you hire a moving company, check out the Facebook group "Moving Company Scams." Better yet, get a Uhaul and do it yourself. Knowing what I do now (that the law protects the moving companies and it's virtually impossible to get relief when things go wrong), I will never ever hire a moving company again, I'd sooner throw my belongings off a cliff - they'd probably arrive at the bottom in better shape.

Seamless from start to finish!

My driver for the move was Muhammad; he was absolutely amazing! Very kind and courteous, punctual, explained everything well, and kept in touch with me during all aspects of the move. I could not have asked for anyone better to have helped me. He is the BEST! You would be doing yourself an injustice not to request Muhammad. You’ll thank me later! Thank you again Muhammad for your professionalism.

Long-distance move from San Francisco, CA to South Freeport, ME

AMAZING

I recently relocated from San Francisco CA to Maine. I booked my move with Mission Moving Group (Broker) after many quotes I found them not necessarily the cheapest but the most transparent and honest Broker. They assigned Atlantis Van Lines to complete my move. The crew arrived on schedule, Mohammad the Foreman I cannot praise this gentleman enough and his crew. My neighbors were equally impressed with the pure uniformed no nonsense work ethic these guys had.

Delivery took approximately 17 days but considering weather conditions and the pandemic i was okay with that, mainly both parties the broker and Atlantis communicated the whole way through.

Bottom line top notch company here. Bravo Mission Moving Group for caring who they send out and Bravo Atlantis and Mohammad for making my husband and my life so much easier to transition.

Long-distance move from Minot, ND to Las Vegas, NV

Courteous and helpful.

My wife and I arranged for our college age daughter to have her household goods be shipped from Minot ND to Las Vegas NV by Atlantis Van Lines. I was flying to Minot to assist my daughter driving back to Las Vegas, so timing was important. The Driver, Mohamed was great from the beginning, letting my wife and daughter no exactly when he would make it to Minot and pick up my daughter's stuff. My daughter had nothing but good things to say about both drivers and said they were very patient and kind. I myself, spoke to Mohamed on numerous occasions, trying to time their arrival in Las Vegas, due to my daughter having a specific date and time she could sign for her new apartment, which happened to be a Sunday. Mohamed was always very nice when I called him and I never once felt like I was bothering him. I also needed information on contacting his company so I could make the last payment with credit card, so I didn't have to worry about getting cash at the last minute. Mohamed texted me back and forth until I was able to contact the company and make the payment.

Overall the experience went very well due to the professionalism of Mohamed, the other driver, I didn't catch his name, and Ori, the lady that took my payment. If you want to use a company that employ great people to ship your personal stuff, I strongly recommend Atlantis Van Lines.

Long-distance move from Egan, SD to Egg Harbor, WI

Mohammed and Stacy.

Moving is stressful and there’s no getting around that. And while I wouldn’t recommend getting an estimate over the phone, I would highly recommend Mohammed along with his main partner Stacy. They were professional and worked without stop getting the job done, with Mohammed updating us along the way. He explained everything and reassured us throughout the move that taking care of us and our things were his number one concern. It showed in his work. They carefully disassembled everything and wrapped with care — even a treadmill. We were amazed by how well they were able to pack the truck. They were also very personable — we had some good conversations along the way! I would highly recommend him for any move. You definitely won’t be disappointed. One note: I never write reviews but felt so strongly about how Mohammed did the job that I really felt I needed to let people know.

Long-distance move from Hereford, AZ to Colorado Springs, CO

So far, so BAD!

This MAY be updated if and when we receive our household goods. Today is April 10th. Our stuff got picked up on March 25 & 26. We called Aaron two days ago, who claims to be in charge of customer relations, and he said that if nobody has contacted us yet to say they have our stuff, then it will be another 5-6 business days or maybe longer. The problem began when they decided to use two separate U-Haul 26 ft trucks to pick up, then move it to another truck for transport! Sine we had two locations for them to pick up from, they brought one U'Haul truck on the 25th, then another one in the 26th. Then both trucks got emptied into a moving van three hours north of us, which supposedly broke down en route (or before), they have never contacted us with any updates, so we are left in the dark, wondering if we will ever see our stuff again. We lived 17 places in 22 years, being military, and this has been the worst moving experience ever. I would say hire anybody else but Atlantis Van Lines!!!

Long-distance move from Tacoma, WA to McKinney, TX

AVOID AT ALL COST

I have moved a lot in my life time and this was BY FAR the worst experience ever. I got scammed by a Shady broker who contracts Atlantis. The truck was a day and a half late causing a major disruption in my travel arrangements from Washington to Texas and causing me to spend additional money on hotels. I was told by the "manager/driver" he was taking my belongings to Oregon to be put on a truck the next day to goto Texas and advises me its 300 more cubic ft than estimated. I call a week later and just as expected my things were still in Oregon and I'm told I didn't pay extra for expedited, the truck to Texas was full, and they have 21 business days. Then send me a revised contract for 350 cubic square ft and almost $700 extra for fuel charges. After challenging it they changed it back to the 300 extra cubic ft. Couple more weeks go by and my things are still in Oregon. Finally they day my stuff is on the way. A week later I get a call from the driver who says he will be at my house in an hour. 3 hours pass and he calls and says his truck broke down it'll be the next day. The next day comes and no delivery. On day 3 Atlantis says he was in an accident and that's why it was delayed. Finally day 4 they show up with 2 rental trucks and I learn the people that showed up aren't even from Atlantis but a trucking company called Royal3. Sooo I notice almost every box clearly marked FRAGILE or GLASS is in the truck upside down and obviously just thrown into the truck not handled like they cared it was someone's valuables. These guys literally damaged almost every piece of furniture they transported and broke so many pieces of glassware and items we will never be able to replace. These things weren't broke because the truck bounced around but broken because they negligently threw the boxes around with the most fragile was being crushed and glass all over the place and my wife getting cut multiple times trying to unpack. I almost think I'm going to run out of space on my phone taking photos of all of the damage. I am in disbelief that any company could think this is ok. But apparently Atlantis is good with it. They said just file a claim and we will give you 60 cents a pound for over $10,000 worth of items that got damaged by NEGLIGENCE. they don't care because it's just pennies to them and they know these Shady brokers will continue to send them business. And now we learned they some how lost 12 boxes, 2 totes, a patio table, a bookcase, and a floor jack (probably stolen). Fortunately I am able to afford a good attorney. Please don't become a victim of this company.

Lost half of my items

This is not a legitimate moving company. Please avoid at all costs! I wish I had just sold my stuff at the place of origin rather than have Atlantis Van Lines lose half of it in the move.

I attempted to move a 4-bedroom home with Atlantis Van Lines from Oregon to Connecticut. They were the only ones available at the time. This should have stopped me but I decided to take a chance especially since they all sounded so nice on the phone.

When they came to move us, they complained at the amount of stuff we had in our house the entire time and ultimately left a bunch with my husband when they just decided they were done. We had to ship boxes ourselves.

When they arrived at the destination, they bullied us into using Venmo for the remainder for the amount. They then rushed through unloading our things, didn't assemble anything (even though that was in the contract) and left within around 1.5hours.

When we finally were able to look through everything, we were shocked at the volume of stuff they lost along the way. In total, it added up to about $15,000 of lost items. Some examples of what they lost -

- Top of our kitchen table (they brought legs only)

- Legs of our king bed (they brought the frame & headboard only)

- Swings and hardware for swing set (they brought the wood only)

- Desk legs (they brought the top only)

- Our wedding silver wear

- The tops to our tupperwear containers

- Kids book collection

- Pots & pans

- Chef knives

- and so much more!!

I've contacted them many times to try to get any money back and they deny that they did anything wrong. It's simply infuriating.
